Item# F4:  Dunbar Cabinet. My inspiration for this piece was an Ed Wormley wall unit that I saw at a recent Miami Beach antique show. The elegant, understated and seemingly timeless furniture designed by Edward Wormley (1907-1995) was marketed throughout the forties, fifties and sixties by Dunbar Furniture. I added the inlay for interest. It is made of Natural Cherry and features mortise and tenon construction. Like many contemporary pieces, I finished it in Danish teak oil. It measures 5-1/2"W x 6-3/4"H x 1-1/2"D. It has 6 drawers that have dovetail/box joints and lots of space for displaying your miniature treasures. $385.00 + shipping Add to Cart

Item# F5:  Skyscraper Wall Unit - Seeing a Paul Frankl Skyscraper Bookcase at the Wolfsonian Museum in the South Beach area of Miami, I decided to do some research on this designer. When I found this photo on the internet, I decided to make a miniature version for my collection. I used cherry which resembled the photo that I used for reference. It’s hard to believe that this was built in 1926. I used traditional mortise and tenon joinery throughout and finished the piece with several coats of fine furniture oil. It measures 3-1/16"W x 5"H x 1-1/2"D. This is a perfect piece in a Deco or Contemporary setting. If you see it from the sides, there are additional open areas for accessories. $295. + shipping Add to Cart

Item# F6:  My Design V-Cabinet - As all of my work, it is a one-of-a-kind. I used rosewood and cherry for this project with a satin finish. As most contemporary and modern pieces, the hinges are hidden. It measures 3-1/8"W x 6-9/16"H x 1-3/4"D. I'm sure that you know how difficult it is to find attractive modern furnishings for your projects and this is a striking piece. It has traditional mortise and tenon joinery.  $225.00 + shipping Add to Cart

Item# F7:  Becksvoort Signature. Cruising the back roads in Maine, I came across this wonderful cabinetmaker. His signature dresser unit with 15 drawers caught my interest, and I made this mini version. The top 2 drawers are only breadboards because of depth considerations. All of the rest can be filled with whatever your imagination dictates. It is made of quartersawn cherry and finished with Danish teak oil . It is 2"W x 5-1/2"H x 1-3/8"D. All drawers are dovetail/finger jointed with the balance in mortise and tenon construction. $350.00 + shipping Add to Cart

Item# F8:  Country Tansu  Although this can be used in an Asian inspired setting, I actually saw this piece in a Country furniture store. I guess you can say it’s eclectic. I have made it out of Cherry with Walnut tops. As all other pieces, it is one-of-a-kind. It measures 3”W x 5”H x 1½”D. It’s one of my favorite pieces in full size and in miniature. I have used typical mortise and tenon construction. $180.00 + shipping Add to Cart

Item# F9:  Deco Armoire  I admired the full size piece in a wholesale furniture showroom in Dania Florida. Immediately I decided to make it in miniature. It would look great in any contemporary setting or in a carefully planned Art Deco scene. I have used Cherry, Bird’s Eye Maple, Mahogany, and a natural Burl for details. If you are interested, the interior is divided into sections with mirror backs on the lowest half. Please e-mail me to see other views of this piece. You will love it. There are two drawers behind the doors and one visible when the doors are closed. This is a great display piece with the doors open. It measures 3-7/8”W x 6-5/8”H x 1-9/16”D. $295.00 + shipping Add to Cart

Item# F10:  Desk  As I was scanning the Furniture Society Members web sites, I came across a desk by James Becker. I modified it slightly to create a mini version. I was delighted with the results which is one-of-a-kind. It is fabricated of Cherry with details in a wonderful speckled veneer. It has a satin wax finish. It measures 4-7/8”W x 3-5/8”W x 1¾”D. All of the drawers are functional with dovetail/finger joints. It’s a beautiful contemporary desk. $210.00 + shipping  Add to Cart

Item# F11:  5-Drawer Console This piece is my own design but based on a piece of life size furniture that I own. It has Arts and Crafts and Contemporary influences. The woods are Bird’s Eye Maple and Cherry. The measurements are 3-1/8”W x 2-7/8”H x 1¼”D. It’s a perfect foyer piece or anywhere in a contemporary or Mission setting. $210.00 + shipping Add to Cart

Item# F12: Stanley Cocktail Table While searching on e-Bay for mid century furniture, I came across this storage cocktail table. It appealed to me and screamed out “you have to make me in miniature”. Even though the original is made of oak, I selected cherry because of the more ‘in scale’ grain. The contrasting wood is mansonia that I prefer to walnut. I added the dividers in the drawers because I think this would be a great piece to show off a collection of rare butterflies, minerals or sea shells, etc. I had to ‘invent’ drawer pulls because I couldn’t find any miniature hardware that resembled the original. There are 6 wonderful drawers. The piece measures 3-7/16”W x 3-7/16”D x1½”H. $295.00 + shipping Add to Cart
